The problem
Why It Keeps Happening.
A driveway pipe only has to fail once to cost you the drive. When a culvert crushes, rusts through, or fills with silt, water backs up behind it and finds another way across — usually straight over or around your driveway.
Undersized pipe is just as bad. A pipe that handles a normal rain can't move a heavy one, so the ditch line overtops and the shoulder washes out every big storm.
Most failed culverts have been failing quietly for years. By the time the surface is sinking or the ends are collapsing, the backfill around the pipe is already gone.
Often paired with driveway grading & gravel and drainage & water diversion on the same visit.

Our Process.

Look at the crossing and the ditch line above and below it to see where the water actually comes from and goes.

Size the pipe for the watershed instead of matching whatever was there before.
- 3
Excavate the old pipe and remove crushed or rusted sections and failed backfill.
- 4
Set the new pipe on proper bedding at the correct grade so it drains and does not settle.
- 5
Backfill and compact in lifts so the drive over the pipe holds up to traffic.
- 6
Add a headwall or riprap at the ends where needed and grade the surface flush.
